Mountaintop Shiloh Shepherds and Catoctin Shiloh Shepherds are proud, excited and pleased to announce the winning combination of Ziva and Luke.
Mountaintop Ziva of Atlantic carries the genetic old line Shiloh pedigrees of Atlantic Sable Shilohs that are well known for their size, brawn and solid temperaments. Ziva was handpicked by her owner who drove up to Nova Scotia, Canada, looking for the perfect pedigree and “Shiloh type” combination to go with our Luke. And here she is. Gregarious and funny, full of love, life and charm, this girl’s steady and solid temperament come in a package that exemplifies the Shiloh standard. Ziva’s attributes are carried from her straight saber tail all the way to her beautifully structured head, with everything in between creating a flowing vision of the written Shiloh Shepherd breed standard. She is a friend to all; enthusiastic in life’s adventures, intuitive to her world, while devoting her soul to the love of her family. Ziva is often thought of as a noble ambassador to the breed.
Catoctin’s Peaceable Luke exemplifies the name to which he was given. Loving to all that his family welcomes in their doors, he still carries the protective intuition and superior intelligence that sets our standard above all others. From the beginning, Shiloh enthusiasts were taken by the muscular brawn and size of Luke. He carries the rare and hard to find, full and lush double stock coat that is highly sought out in a smooth coated Shiloh. Luke set the Shiloh rings on fire earning his breed championship in a single weekend proving brawn and size can still be a picture of harmonious balance blended together with true power in movement. Luke wins peoples heart at every venue. With herding titles, breed champion titles, Therapy titles and Temperament titles, Luke has it all. He is a proven stud with multiple championed and titled progeny who also exemplify the characteristics that keep the high level of requests for puppies coming to Catoctin Shiloh Shepherds.
This winning combination is expected to continue previously noted progeny attributes of: 1. Intelligence, majesty, and strength 2. Large, muscular heavy boned bodies 3. Wide, broad, and noble heads 4. Commanding balance and powerful, fluid movement 5. Noted versatility, regal, loving, steady Shilohs.
Ziva and Luke have united to create puppies that carry 17.2% outcross influence consisting of 12.5% Boz (3rd generation), 3.1% Chaos (5th generation) and 1.6% Artus (6th generation). The remaining 82.8% is pure Shiloh old lines; a true winning percentile of hybrid vigor kept solid with the rigidity and influence of blue-blooded old lines. It will be an all dual litter embodied in either plush or smooth coats with the heavy blanketed black/tan or black/silver coloration that you see in the sire and dam. We expect exemplar breed standard temperaments with solid breed standard “type” for those looking for that heart of gold, family member. If you are looking to add happiness to your home in a true and loyal, bold and brilliant puppy, this litter is made for you.
