Holly was my pick female from my Poppy/Chain litter. She's had a very special spark about her since she was born, taking very much after the personality of her smooth daddy Chain in so many ways. Holly is very amiable, attentive and affectionate, yet guarded enough to stand her ground when needed. Her smooth coat is a brilliant black, and I expect to see the Kai-Lyn trend of awesome color and pigment continue via her puppies. Holly has earned her Grand Victrix and National Select placements with the NSBR in the Smooth Coat Variety. She was also an NSBR Top Puppy. She's my only Smooth Coat, so I'm pretty proud of all that.

Holly's brother/littermate "Augustine" produced the most wonderful litter with Sophia. If you've been following that litter you know what I'm talkin' 'bout! I see that Augustine's dam "Poppy" played quite heavily into their colors, and I'm thrilled to see so much presence of Grandpa Carter attributes. Sophia's pedigree is loaded with the most fabulous dogs too, including the infamous #1 ARBA Shiloh, "Harley"! It's really quite amazing to be able to pinpoint the bits and pieces of the ancestors so clearly.

Holly's sire "Chain" is no doubt one of the most impressive smooth coated dogs in our breed. Chain leaves a legacy of very impressive smooth and plush coated Shilohs, with the Poppy/Chain litter being his last. Holly's dam "Poppy" I'm proud to say was my pick from the Carter/Makeeda Litter #1. Poppy produced two beautiful litters known for their heavy bone and rich colors.

This will be Holly's first litter and I couldn't be happier with my choice of Kao as the sire of her puppies. I was SO impressed with Kao when I met him that I immediately inquired about pairing him with Holly. He's an incredibly substantial boy, perfect tail, lovely earset, beautiful head and expression, and best of all he's a total love-bug. While Kao has never seen a show-ring as his owner "just isn't into that", I will tell you from my years of experience that he is one very impressive boy.

Kao's lines are equally impressive being 100% old line Shiloh with Brodie as his sire and Karma as his dam. Brodie has got to be one of the top show-winningness Shilohs ever, tradition carried through via his sons "Cash" and Kao's littermate "Raiden". And Kao's dam Karma is a champion of pure ISSR old line Shiloh.

I'm very excited about the combination of the these two lovely dogs. The puppy's pedigree will reflect outcrosses of 2 times Artus, in the 3rd and 5th generation, and 1 time Boz in the 5th generation.
