Let'R Buck Kennel & Shadowgate Farm are happy to announce the upcoming breeding of Major & V.
Major is the perfect family companion, with a stable balanced confident temperament, tremendous intelligence, wonderful conformation, and very acceptable working drive. He is a plush black and sable coated large boned Shiloh male. He has a gorgeous broad head and broad chest. He is the regal gentle sentinel of our neighborhood. He regularly receives high marks, respect, and attention from our neighbors, friends and family. Major’s disposition as a gentle giant with children has gained him commanding attention and acceptance from the neighborhood elementary school that he likes to visit regularly. He touches all who meet him with his deep eye contact, which will reach to your soul with a single glance. Major defends his home and our pack with vigilance, and his physical size serves as a respectful deterrent to intruders. Major has touched our souls in so many ways. He will always be our much beloved friend and companion.
"V", came to Pat & I the middle of May. Already being almost 2.5 years old, we missed her puppy time. She came from Cher Mundy's ShadowGate Farm Shiloh's. Cher, named "V" after her best friend Virginia Storey. Pat & I had her Pet Transported by a van from her home in Canada to our home in Pendleton, Oregon. As most of you know, breeders don't like to ship older pups or dogs by air. "V",arrived 3 days and 2000 miles later to our door. A little stressed, but riding with humans is a lot more fun then riding with baggage.
The first thing we noticed was V's shiny black coat, very distinct markings and beautiful, bright eyes. She is a happy, sweet temperament girl, likes kids, and other people after she gets to know them. She is quite a talker, has lots to say most of the time. She had no problems blending into our pack of Shilohs, Moose and Nash and even with our wolf-hybrid, Nakita.
As far as what we are looking for? I think between Major's wonderful temperament, and his drop dead handsome looks and "V"'s beauty should produce some awesome looking puppies. And they both have those black beauty marks on their tongues. Hopefully pups will carry that look too.
