This breeding brings together the lineage of two old line authentic Shilohs: Foxy and Kit. It was always a dream of many to bring together Foxy annd Kit; in fact that breeding was attempted twice in 2005 while with the ISSR but no puppies resulted. Foxy and Kit's lines are cornerstones within the Shiloh breed, and will contribute the much needed MAW characteristics that make the Shiloh unique.

Mint is a Kit son from the T-ra/Kit litter of 2005, and is a third generation Artus. Kiara is our last Foxy daughter, a third generation Orbit. Outcross blood will falll in the fourth generation, making these puppies non-new bloods.

We anticipate outstanding size, bone, broad heads, tiny ears, and that special MAW look in these pups. I guarantee you will see it in their eyes! Strong hips, (many goods and excellents) and good health are behind both sire and dam.

Cinder is an elegant young female who has done very well in the show circuit. She completed her Canadian championship in her first season of showing and went on to earn her American championship in just one weekend in May 2010 in Brookville, PA. Cinder takes life on with exuberant enthusiasm and vigor. She’s very athletic with excellent movement. Nothing is more fun than running through the yard chasing a ball, Frisbee, or squirrel. She has a clever mind and takes notice of everything around her. She’s a great problem solver and even loves to play hide and seek, tag and hockey with our three children. 

Baree is a very handsome boy from the Trinity/Carter litter of 2008. Although Baree has never strutted his stuff in a show ring he is a show quality boy. Baree has beautiful conformation which includes a proper topline, heavy bone, nice movement, proper tail, straight front and back and good head. Baree is a very sweet, affectionate, laidback boy with no prey drive and a very happy disposition.

Rockbridge Shilohs is very excited to announce the breeding of CJ’s Mighty Zeus of Genesis (Zeus) to Genesis’ Sapphire of Rockbridge (Sapphira).

Zeus is a well known guy for his extremely sweet, stable temperament and striking good looks...he has great conformation, beautiful movement and a spark that no one can resist. Zeus is a Canadian Grand Champion as well as an International and breed champion. One glance tells you he’s a handsome guy but it’s not until you meet him that you can really appreciate the specialness that is Zeus! While he is sweet and gentle with children and puppies, Zeus has excellent drive and loves to chase any critter that dares to enter his property – even birds flying overhead.

Sapphira is our laid back sweet-heart. She loves to snuggle and gaze into up into eyes. Sapphira has a beautiful large head, with a lovely wide muzzle, excellent pigment, and substantial big bones. She can “talk” with her beautiful expressive eyes. Although Sapphira is not trained as a service dog she sees herself in this role. My sister in law suffers from MS and walks with assistance. When she is visiting, Sapphira is her personal support dog, constantly by her side hoping that she will lean on her. Sapphira is a walking cane! She even circles her to block the other dogs from knocking her. She wasn’t trained for this job; it’s her own instinct directing her loving care. Sapphira is a JA International Champion and has passed both her Temperament Test with gunfire and her Herding Instinct Test.

We expect puppies from this pairing to be outstanding! They will have beautiful large bones, gorgeous big heads with nice wide muzzles, great movement, lovely, proper feet and outstanding temperaments. These dogs will make wonderful family companions but they are also expected to do very well in the show ring and may have the drive and ability to be working dogs. We expect to see both sables and duals with full, plush coats.
