Sophia resides with her family at Misty Mountain Shilohs in Barrington, New Hampshire. She is truly an exceptional representation of the Shiloh Shepherd breed in both temperament and confirmation. One of her awesome assets that she brings to this breeding is her pure old line Shiloh Shepherd pedigree which carries zero outcrosses and which is built on the high excelling championship lines.

Her health certification will add an extra kick to her offspring as she carries into this breeding extremely rare low PennHip scores ranking her in the elite 100% percentile of the breed. She is cardiology cleared with her heart and ranks normal in her Thyroid TLI numbers.

Along with Sophia’s outstanding pedigree and health statistics, she has also proven herself to the standard by doing very well in the show ring easily obtaining her Master Supreme championship and receiving early National Select status. Her beautiful, fluid movements are always noted by the judges as she glides effortlessly across the ground with a smooth flowing gait. She often looks like she is showing off and prancing in the show ring.

She has the sought after beautiful broad, noble head, and a lovely, broad face that defines a well breed Shiloh. Her body carries the wide chest and heavy brawn in bone that sets her apart and demands to be noticed. Believe us when we tell you she knows she is very special!

Her temperament is medium –soft creating a very obedient and highly intelligent animal. Sophia was often used as an example by the trainer in obedience classes because she was such a fast learner. She is devoted to her family, follows us around constantly and intuitively protects us from the evil chipmunks in the yard. She does have a high prey drive and will willing give chase to things that challenge her yard. Sophie rounds out her assets by excelling in agility class.

Augustine was my "pick" male of the Poppy/Chain litter, and I'm so excited about him being an up and coming stud. His temperament is wonderful! I hadn’t seen him in person in over a year, and he was completely calm, affectionate, happy, and completely trusting the day I “borrowed” him from his mom to take him for his hip and elbow x-rays. The vet was SUPER impressed with how totally cooperative he was on the x-ray table. He was a bit apprehensive as we first lifted him up, but he settled down immediately – to the point that we thought he’d gone to sleep. LOL Hands down the easiest OFA’s I’ve ever done. We had a bit of time to kill afterwards, so I brought him back to my house for a good walk around the yard and a few pictures. He’s truly a lovely dog. Augustine shares his home on a farm with two older female dogs and several kitties. As a breeder, I’m extremely happy with the health and temperaments I got out of Poppy/Chain. Augustine is a gorgeous and very sweet young male and I look forward to seeing what he produces with the beautiful Sophia. The combination with be pulling some really great gene pools together.

Their virtues complement each other wonderfully and we anticipate large puppies with heavy bone, broad heads and exceptional structure. Sables and duals in plush coats are expected and the possibility of some blacks! Temperaments will be medium to medium-soft. Excellent hip and health statistics can be found in both sire and dam. This is Sophia’s and Augustine first breeding.

Ridgewood and Stardust Shilohs are extremely delighted to announce the breeding of Ridgewood’s Samson and Stardust’s Cinder. This is the first breeding for both of these Shilohs and they made us proud by breeding in a timely/natural manner. Ultrasound has confirmed that Cinder has a big belly full of puppies, and Samson is celebrating by handing out the cigars!

Rockbridge Shilohs and Brick Chapel Shilohs are very excited to announcing the breeding of Killian and Cinder. These two beautiful shilohs compliment each other so well.

Kilian is a handsome plush brown sable with a thick coat, nice small ears, and a proud bearing. He has a beautiful head, nice bone, width of chest, and beautifully balanced structure. His calm and dignified demeanor further serves to make him a very impressive Shiloh with much to offer our breed. And his patience and gentle nature with puppies and children just further add to his endearing qualities. His conformation titles, National Select awards, Adult Temperament Test and Canine Good Citizen certificates show that he possesses exceptionally good structure and temperament.

Cinder is a very large yet elegant female who has done very well in the show circuit. She completed her Canadian championship in her first season of showing and went on to earn her American championship in just one weekend in May 2010 in Brookville, PA. We were thrilled when she was named the TSSR’s National Select #1 for 2010. Cinder takes life on with exuberant enthusiasm and vigor. She’s very athletic with excellent movement. Nothing is more fun than running through the yard chasing a ball, Frisbee, or squirrel. She has a clever mind and takes notice of everything around her. She’s a great problem solver and even loves to play hide and seek, tag and hockey with our three children.

We expect these puppies to have excellent conformation and movement, making them great show and breed prospects. As well, combining both Killian and Cinder’s temperaments we expect very intelligent pups that may be good prospects for therapy work as well as the drive to work in search and rescue. But most of all they will be, wonderfully loving, devoted pets. Temperaments will be medium to medium soft. Coats will be all plush, with rich pigment of brown sables, possible duals and perhaps even a solid white!

JnL Shilohs and Bearpaw Shilohs are extremely excited to announce the rebreeding between Bolo's Cosmic Polar Bear (Coz) and Kallisto's Lil Minx of Bearpaw (Vixen) in Dec. 2011.

Vixen is an incredible girl with tons of personality. She is obedient, sweet with just a little bit of moxie thrown in. She has taken over the roll of being JnL's official greeter to anyone who visits. She has produced a fabulous litter with Kodiak with nice heads, thick bone and fantastic size.

Coz is the clown of my pack, he is happy all the time. Coz has his Herding Instinct Certification. He has talent that impressed his tester quote " He is a natural herding dog. Best Shiloh I have ever tested !" Carolyn Wilki. Coz has produced an awesome litter with Kohl from Bellegrace.

Both of these dogs have beautiful movement. They have extensive health testing. This litter should again produce size, bone, beautiful heads and working ability. I have decided to do this breeding again because the 2010 litter has produced puppies suitable for therapy work. They are all friendly, outgoing pups who would excell at anything you want to do with them. It is with a wide range of emotions that we are announcing that Imladris Shilohs will be having puppies. This is a planned "pairing" that was not supposed to happen for at least another year. I failed the Breeder 101 - "Keep 'Em Separated" course! We have confirmed that Nottingham's Laerwen O' Imladris (Lyra) will be having pups sired by OceanState's Elessar of Imladris (Strider).

Lyra is a beautifully coated, brown sable girl with an independent, yet loving personality. She has a correct topline, great bone, nice head and a lovely saber tail. Lyra brings with her lines a double new blood in the 4th generation from Ember combined with old lines via her sire Elvis. Her health testing will be completed as soon as she is 18 months.

Strider is a big teddy bear. He has a medium soft temperament and wants nothing more than to be with you and be loved on. He is tall and of moderate width, has good bone, and a beautiful head. He is excellent with everyone he meets, yet he is an outstanding family guardian. Strider brings an impressive pedigree of pure old lines to this breeding. He has his breed championship and has passed his herding instinct test.

With the combination of these two we should see broad puppies with nice bone, height, great heads and excellent temperaments and intelligence. We expect a variety of plush puppies with most being sable but with the possibility of duals. All pups will be sold as pet quality with the option to upgrade pending Lyra's successful completion of all her health testing. The litter will be registered with NKC.
