High Caliber Shilohs and Regal Shilohs are very proud to
announce the upcoming breeding of two fantastic Shilohs, Terra and
Magnus. Beauty, brains, health, and sweet, gentle temperaments, this
pair has it all!
Magnus is an absolutely stunning boy from the foundation
lines of the Shiloh breed. Not only has he excelled in the show
ring, achieving his breed, Canadian, and IABCA International
Championships and a Top Dog award from the NSBR before he was two
years old, but he has also proven his impressive working abilities by
earning his herding instinct certification, Pre-Companion Dog and
Rally Novice Cum Laude obedience designations, and has one more leg to
go for his CD title in obedience. Magnus has a large and beautiful
head, deep, wide chest, heavy bone, and thick, lush coat in a gorgeous
silvery-gray. His flowing movement, regal presence, and noble
expression are a joy to behold. All of this is topped off by a
fun-loving, gentle and obedient nature. We really couldn’t ask for
more!
Terra is our beautiful and sweet girl who loves everyone
and everything! From conformation and temperament to intelligence
and health, we could not be more pleased with our lovely young lady.
Terra is a smart and athletic girl with lots of substance. She is a
great mover with a gorgeous blocky head and sweet expression, wide
chest and good bone, thick, soft coat and beautiful saber tail. In
just over six months, Terra earned her breed championship and
Rarities/NAKC International Championship, Canine Good Citizen and
Therapy Dog International Certificates, a Top Dog award with the NSBR,
National Select #8 with the ISSDC, completed beginning and
intermediate agility classes and earned more than half the points
needed for her NKC championship. In 2010, Terra added a Herding
Instinct Certificate and Adult Temperament Test Certificate to her
credentials. In the spring and summer of 2010, Terra took a break
from her busy schedule to have her first litter with Adirondack
Shilohs’ impressive Aquilo. Terra proved to be a wonderful mother,
and we were so pleased with her puppies that we decided to keep two of
them.
Terra’s daughter Zayda lives here with us and started
her show career off with a bang, winning Best Puppy at the Shiloh
Nationals in Canada. She then followed up with 16 Best of Breed Puppy
wins and 10 Best Puppy in Shows. Terra’s son Colby lives next door
and is a big, sweet, fun-loving boy who will start his show career
during the 2011 season.
Magnus also has progeny to be proud of as his daughter
Stella began her show career in impressive fashion, earning Top Shiloh
Puppy (plush) in the Canadian RBCSWO for the 2010 show season! In
addition, one of Magnus’ sons, Baron, is a certified Therapy Dog and a
daughter from the same litter, bCan CHptd Genesis Northern Blizzard
(aka Winter), had her first litter of big, beautiful, healthy puppies
in 2010.
Both Terra and Magnus have outstanding health reports.
Hip ratings are tops for both, with OFA Excellent hips for Magnus and
PennHIP scores of 0.30 and 0.30 for Terra, placing her in the top 10
percent of Shilohs. Hearts have also been examined and cleared with
the most advanced method available, Doppler Echocardiogram.
It is with great anticipation that we look forward to
what Terra and Magnus will produce together. Their puppies will all be
plush coated and we will likely have mostly sables in a range of
lighter gray, cream, and silver colors. We expect these pups to have
the broad heads, heavy bone and wide chests from the foundation dogs
of the Shiloh breed. The beauty, brains, flowing movement and
excellent health of the sire and dam should be passed on to their
progeny along with their gentle and obedient nature. These puppies
should make excellent show, breeding, or working prospects as well as
wonderful companions.
