Chain is one of the very best smooth coats the Shiloh world has to offer. "Chain" is a black and silver smooth coated blanket dual with an impressive show career. A multiple best in show winner, Chain was a 2004 Grand Victor, ranked National Select #1 in his first year of showing in 2003 and again in 2005. He brings outstanding height, head, bone, topline, movement, and temperament to this pairing.
For past last three seasons Calypso has been the top Shiloh conformation female in North American. She is a multiple Best in Show winner, 4x TSSR and ISSDC Grand Victrix, ARBA Master Champion, and the first, and to date only, female Shiloh entered in the NAKC Hall of Fame. “Caly” is large boned, with outstanding drive, top line, head, movement, and extraordinary intelligence. This will be her second, and last, breeding.
This breeding should be of particular interest to breeders looking to diversify their lines. Our expectations for the puppies from this pairing include suitability to excel at conformation, breeding, working and most certainly as loyal companions. These puppies will come from excellent blood lines as this litter combines pure old Shiloh lines via Quinn with the new blood of both Orbit and Artus via Ember. We anticipate healthy plush coated Shilohs with big bone structure, nice broad heads, great height, nice movement and a willingness to please. Pigment on these puppies should be exceptional. All health testing has been done and both parent dogs have passed with above average scores.
Keystone’s Scarlet’s Ember is a beautiful plush golden sable with rich pigmentation. She is a 3rd generation double new blood, with Orbit from Keystones Jasper Jax O'Zion and Artus from Jersey's Midnight Run ODS Zion. Ember is big boned, has been blessed with a gorgeous broad head including great stop, and exhibits beautiful movement. To say Em has an exuberant personality is an understatement; this girl loves life and is willing to please. Ember is the perfect combination of Artus, Orbit and old line Shiloh. She inherits her stamina and heavy bone from the Artus lines, brings size from the Orbit lines and her intelligence and loyal nature from the old Shiloh lines behind her. This is her first breeding.
Sunstar's Mighty Quinn von Europa is the epitome of what a Shiloh Shepherd should be. He is a beautiful bi-black and silver plush coated Shiloh with incredible size, bone, a nice big broad head and great pigment. Quinn is a true gentle giant with impeccable bloodlines including Trinka/Shep, Mistie/Laz and Tessa/Bear, all in the third generation behind him. His stature and look resemble his grandmother Luna and her brothers Phantom and Simon. Quinn has inherited his father Elvis’ laid back personality and wants nothing more than to be with his people.

Sequoia's Sassafras aka SassyLitter Evaluation Report: We were extremely pleased with the results of the litter evaluation on the Renegade/Grace pups. This litter of pups is very people oriented, and will bond tightly with their families. They will want to be where their humans are, much like their mom, dad, and grandma. They are all very loving, cuddly pups that will train easily. Born premature, they are slightly smaller than normal Shiloh pups of this age, but will catch up. Hearts and bites are good, and all the boys have both testicles.
We succeeded in doing what we set out to do with this litter. We were hoping to produce pups with awesome heads: well defined stops, short broad muzzles, small ears, and most important, underjaw. Everyone of these pups has beautiful underjaw! We were also looking for broad chests, good stifle and wither, which presented itself in at least 3/4 of the pups. Lastly, we are sticklers for proper tails and tail set and all of the pups, with the exception of one with a slight kink, have beautiful saber tails, that will carry properly.
Unfortunately, we also saw a lack of pigment in some of the pups, even to the point of one boy sporting the mask from his Malamute heritage. We found it interesting that the duals all have awesome pigment with rich black muzzles but the sables vary from salt and pepper, to slightly faded, to full mask. Overall, an exceptional litter in temperament, health and conformation.
